Sunday February 5 - Choral Evensong 6.30pm at Fordham Midweek services for week beginning February 5
Weddings preparation day - Sunday February 5, 12 noon-2.30pm At this time of year we invite all the couples who are to be married this year in our churches both to lunch and to a time of preparation for marriage. This year we have 30 couples to be married in our churches. Weddings are joyful occasions and we very much look forward to meeting these couples together to talk about practical details and longer term implications of their Wedding. We prepare a special booklet for this time together and we point couples to the very effective Church of England website about getting married in church. If you would like to know more about our wedding preparations please speak to either Mike, Kate or Jenny. Many thanks to Jenny Bowen and her team for both preparing and clearing up after the meal. A Lenten Musical Pilgrimage - February 29 A chance for all musicians in the Diocese (plus anyone else with an interest in music in worship) to come together for a few hours and during that time to share a simple meal together, discuss the issues facing musicians in God’s Church today, try out some new resources (in various musical styles), share in an act of worship with time for reflection and prayer. To be held at Littleport Parish Church on Wednesday 29 February. If you are interested please see Mike for a booking form. Mums+ next on February 10
We meet monthly on Fridays at 9.15am (after the school run) at La Hogue cafe, Chippenham. Babies & toddlers welcome. La Hogue has great play equipment, highchairs, children's menu and so on. Dates:

Baptisms There have been many baptisms in our churches these past few months. It is so good to welcome the newly baptised into our churches. We are trying to maintain a balance between baptism as a major part of the main service on a Sunday and giving space for families to gather at other times either on Saturdays or Sundays. Thanks too to our Baptism Visitors who are making such a difference in welcoming and helping at baptisms. Thefts from our churches Both Kennett and now Chippenham have had substantial amounts of lead stolen from their roofs. A section of Fordham’s lightning conductor was also taken, making the building unsafe and unprotected. Do please keep an eye out for any illegal behaviour around our churches and report it speedily both to the Police and to Churchwardens. Vigilance is essential these days I am afraid. Sundays @ 6 - A Group for
all teenagers (12+) Meets at For more information please
speak to Rev’d Kate Peacock 723960, Rev’d Mike Banyard 721616 or Gill
